Dr. Bailey Marzitelli was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina. Her love for deep and lasting relationships started early as she grew up alongside 3 amazing sisters. Her family’s fun fact is that the four girls are actually two sets of twins! After spending her entire childhood playing soccer and swimming, Dr. Marzitelli knew that she wanted to find a career path that would not only allow her to connect with people, but also stay active.
She attended the Honors College at the College of Charleston for her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. Following graduation in 2020, she moved to Gainesville, Florida to pursue her Doctorate degree at the University of Florida, one of the top Physical Therapy programs nationally and ranked #1 in the state of Florida. She was fortunate to be trained by experts in the various disciplines of physical therapy. Throughout her medical rotations, she learned from leading orthopedic clinicians at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Pate Rehabilitation in Fort Worth, UF Health Rehab, and St. Vincent’s Hospital.
In an effort to squeeze in as many big life events as possible, Dr. Marzitelli got married just two weeks after graduating with her doctorate to her high school sweetheart. Her husband Jaron is active duty in the Air Force which brought them to Warner Robins, GA. They recently closed on their house and are very excited to call Georgia home with their pup Scarlett! When she is not in clinic, Dr. Marzitelli enjoys exploring the community. She loves being outside, both in nature and in a downtown setting to browse stores or sit in a coffee shop.
Dr. Marzitelli is extremely excited to start her career and feels very fortunate to do so at MVP Physio Dr. She aims to grow her clinical expertise in evidence-based treatments including biomedical trigger point dry needling, shockwave therapy, and manual therapy for spine and extremities. Dr. Marzitelli strives to provide alternative treatments to ideally prevent more invasive and costly procedures. She looks forward to building long-term relationships with her patients and enabling them to better carry out their day-to-day activities and accomplish life goals.
